Last week I was interviewed by Meredith R. Miller, Assistant Professor of Law at the Touro Law Center for a podcast on her blog, The Slippery Slope. During the podcast interview, we discuss the VLOTech software used to create a virtual law practice, the difference between a VLO and a brick & mortar law office, and the benefits of a virtual law practice for the public and the legal profession. I talk about my own experience operating a virtual law office in North Carolina and about how the trend is spreading to other states. You may listen to the podcast by clicking on the play button below the blog post for the podcast or by downloading it on iTunes.
The Slippery Slope was featured in August as the “New and Notable” audio podcast for the Higher Education section on iTunes (apparently there is not a category for law on iTunes just yet). If you haven’t subscribed to The Slippery Slope podcast yet, I would recommend checking it out. The interviews conducted by Meredith are educational and feature interesting individuals and their businesses, such as Aviva Cuyler, the Founder of JDSupra.com, Mark Britton, CEO of Avvo, and Carolyn Elefant of MyShingle.com.
